Cross-Country Data: Households and Financial Markets
As part of the Initiative for International Comparative Household Finance, I am instrumental in the development and growth of an online data organisation system which intends to decrease the barriers to entry for academics who want to study questions in household finance. This project aims to highlight the unique connection between micro-level data and academic research. Our guiding principle is to benefit from the internationally comparative dimension of the field, with respect to product availability and optimal choice, as well as to the cross-country heteregeneity in institutional frameworks.
